(And lucky to be alive)
It is a great website and tells it like it is.
I wish you the best.

I am so sorry to read of your struggles.  It sounds
like you have had a rough few years.  I wish you well.

I reviewed your website.  That's a tough experience you went through.  It's
hard to believe they would do that.  I have myself not had good experiences
with doctors.  I have underwent nine surgeries due to nerve problems.  For a
long time the doctors did not do surgery that I needed and it resulted in
permanent nerve damage.  Medical care in this country and probably others
has problems.  I wish you very well.  Even though you may be an older
person.  Within you are beautiful and young.  Take care and with Love,

A

Courage and Grace.  Those are what struck me hardest after the outrage.  A person shouldn’t have to endure such things but unfortunately that is the nature of life.  However, when we live in one of the best places on the planet, we don’t think that such things could happen.  I guess people are people wherever they come from.  It struck me that there was an almost “good Samaritan” feel to the chapter in your story about the Iranian surgeon.  Your lack of bitterness is a lesson as well.  Your story has so many lessons and they aren’t just about the horrors of a medical system supposedly based on the Hippocratic oath, going terribly wrong.  I found it to be a story of love, forgiveness, patience, tolerance, and understanding as well.
Thank you for telling your story.

I looked at your website and shiver my timbers -- there but for the grace
of God go I.  You would have found many law firms eager for this one -- have you talked to any of them?
There are circumstances that extend limitation statutes and you need good legal advice from attorneys that do this kind of work -- not just a general practitioner.

Your site is extremely effective at getting your point across. I found it very touching and it is something almost everyone can relate to - all of us have heard similar horror stories from family members or friends involving hospitals and doctors.

Each of us has to find a way to use our creativity to live our lives and find peace. Hopefully, your website and detailed accounts of your terrible experience will help you leave it behind and use your obvious talent to write things that are joyful.

God bless.

God Bless!  That’s outrageous because I see commercials on the Mayo Clinic ALL the time because I am right here in fort Lauderdale, Fl.  Wow. Well I found it quite interesting that your first wife appeared to you, i always thought when your time is near and you give up faith, God sends a message to you to keep pushing or to be strong, and now am firm believe in my once thought of hypothesis.

What in God's name did they do to you? I hope that you that you are feeling better. You have been tortured and your not even islamic. I unfortunately have had experience with doctors practicing medicine [key word, practicing]. I wish you a speedy return to health and of course my best wishes,

wow, MayoVictim, I'm sorry you went through all that. Going into a hospital is scarey enough as it is. I had MRSA on my 29th birthday (2 years ago) and ended up spending the night in the Hospital, I was so scared, they kept telling me I could be there for weeks and would most likley need to leave with an IV drip and daily visits from a nurse. I swear I must have willed that damn MRSA away because 24 hours later they were discharging me w/ a clean bill of health. Worst part of the whole ordeal was the 4000 bill for my stay. I can only imagine what your oreal must have cost, good luck with your health and all this with the evil Mayo clinic.

I read the miraculous surviving straggle you go through in Mayo.  I believe GOD is with you.  This is testimony to me, believe me, there was God's hand on your surgery.  I wish you farther more quick recovery time.  May GOD be with you.  Amen
Sincerely,

A

First, let me start by saying I am so sorry for what you have been going through and have endured. Your life must be so full of pain and disappointment. I just hope you find some sort of relief and someone comes or is there to help you through these awful times.

I can truly understand where you are coming from as far as the care that Mayo St Luke's' gives. My XXXXXX has been ill since age sixteen and he made St Luke's' his hospital of choice because so close to where family used live and where work before disabled. Over the past years visits it has become more of a business deal rather than patient care or concern. Few and far between do you find someone that works there that actually cares and does their job without hiding behind each other.

Oh my goodness.  What an ordeal.  I can't even imagine how much of a toll this had taken on your family.  But through
everything you have shared, it appears that you have not only come through this Mayo mess (for lack of a better word), but you have come through it positively.  Your good attitude is applauded.  The system tried its best to beat you and lost.  In my book...you are a WINNER and an encouragement to others.  Thank You for sharing.
Blessings To You,

D

Just now got a chance to read your site.
Unbelievable-
When I was 2 years old, I had spinal meningitis and almost died.
My grandmother always told me that God saved me for a higher purpose.
You must have been able to "hang in there"- so that you could have a higher purpose as well.
The medical profession has become such a money game and so political.
And then- there's the insurance racket - I could go on and on.
But I won't.
